Visa Information for International Academic Conference on Teaching and Education Participants
To attend the International Academic Conference on Teaching and Education in Brussels, participants may need to apply for a visa to enter Belgium. Here we have gathered some required information for you to help you with the process.
Entry to Belgium
An individual who travels to Belgium with the intention of visiting family, exploring the country, engaging in professional activities, or attending a conference or an event, is required to furnish documentation demonstrating their eligibility to enter the Schengen Area.
Visa Type
To enter Belgium for a conference, individuals from other countries typically need to apply for a business visa, which falls under the category of a Schengen Area entry visa application (visa C). This visa allows the holder to travel between and stay freely in all Schengen Area member countries for a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period.
It is advisable to refer to the website of the relevant Belgian embassy/consulate, as well as the website of the external service provider handling visa applications (such as VFS Global or TLS Contact), for comprehensive information regarding the application process.Â
